The Element of Surprise
 It all begun when I was once robbed and my car was stolen. I never had my home broken into, which could have maybe been because of the home alarm system I had installed a while back and the sign I put out in the front yard of my house.

I got to thinking if I added an alarm to my car, it would never get stolen, right? But how can I add awareness to myself? I am a citizen of the United States of America that takes my safety really serious.

So I obtained my permit to conceal as a source of protection. I aim to defend my family and I with the necessary means. With the act of violence surrounding us daily, I figured there has to be a way to give warning to my person besides other than my concealed weapon I tried to have with me. Along came the birth of "GUARDED GEAR". A logo that represent awareness and self-defense, as well as apparel to warn others about my license to conceal my weapon. Growing up, I was taught that the element of surprise works best. But after some research and many awareness classes,  I learned that it can be expensive and in a high percentage of cases can even land you in prison.  I saw Guarded as my "Open Carry" or my defense warning.

My objective focus is to minimize the element of surprise on me... HOW? That's for ME to know and for YOU never to find out.
